Premium brunch just 15 minutes from Maspalomas Dunes
If you are staying in Maspalomas or Playa del Ingles, you already know the routine: wake up, head to the hotel buffet, stand in line for lukewarm coffee and pre-made pastries. It works, but it is not memorable. MOMA Caffe in Bahia Feliz is the reason to break that routine. A short drive up the GC-1 motorway, just 10 to 15 minutes from the Maspalomas Dunes, and you arrive at a Mediterranean brunch spot that feels like a different world from the resort strip.
Our Italian-inspired menu features freshly prepared dishes paired with illy coffee and premium champagnes. Whether you want a quiet breakfast for two, a celebratory brunch with Taittinger champagne, or healthy acai bowls and smoothies to fuel a day at the beach, MOMA is worth the short trip. Once you try it, the hotel buffet will feel like a compromise.

Hotel buffets serve hundreds of guests each morning. The food sits under heat lamps, the coffee comes from a push-button machine, and the pastries arrive from a wholesale supplier. There is nothing wrong with convenience, but there is a difference between eating and dining.
At MOMA, every dish is prepared to order. Your eggs benedict arrive with a freshly made hollandaise, the avocado toast is assembled minutes before it reaches your table, and the acai bowl is blended with real frozen acai pulp and topped with house-made granola. The coffee is illy, prepared on a professional La Marzocco machine by someone who knows the difference between a flat white and a latte. And if you feel like champagne with your brunch, you can order a glass of Taittinger or Moet and Chandon — something no hotel buffet will offer you at 10 in the morning.
The Avocado Toast is served on sourdough bread with a perfectly poached egg, microgreens and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil. It is simple, fresh and satisfying. The Eggs Benedict come on a toasted English muffin with smoked salmon or ham, topped with that creamy hollandaise that makes this dish a brunch classic worldwide.
For something lighter, the Acai Bowl combines frozen acai with banana and berries, finished with our house granola, coconut flakes and seasonal fruit. It is vibrant, energising and perfect before a morning at the dunes. If you are in the mood for something indulgent, the Pancakes with mixed berries are fluffy, generous and served with real maple syrup.
We also serve smoked salmon toast, Greek yoghurt with honey and granola, and a rotating selection of artisan pastries baked fresh every morning.
The coffee at MOMA deserves its own mention. We serve exclusively illy, the Italian brand that has been roasting in Trieste since 1933. Their blend is balanced, aromatic and smooth, with notes of chocolate and caramel and none of the bitterness you get from mass-produced coffee. We prepare it on a La Marzocco espresso machine, the gold standard in specialty coffee shops around the world.
Order an espresso if you like it short and intense, a cappuccino for that perfect ratio of foam and coffee, a flat white for more body with less milk volume, or a latte if you prefer it mellow. We also serve matcha latte and chai latte for those who want something different. Every cup is made to order, never sitting on a hot plate waiting for someone to pick it up.
One of the things that sets MOMA apart is our champagne and cocktail menu, available from the moment we open. A glass of Taittinger champagne brings elegance to any morning, while Moet and Chandon adds a celebratory touch that works beautifully alongside eggs benedict or smoked salmon. For special occasions, we offer Dom Perignon by the glass.
If you prefer cocktails, the classic Mimosa blends champagne with fresh-squeezed orange juice for a light, refreshing start. The Aperol Spritz is a crowd favourite with its bittersweet orange flavour, and the Lillet Tonic offers a more sophisticated, botanical alternative. Brunch with bubbles is a tradition in the best European cities, and at MOMA you can enjoy it under the Canarian sun.
MOMA occupies a beautifully designed space inside the Bahia Feliz commercial centre. The architecture is Mediterranean: white arches frame the interior, high ceilings keep the air fresh, and natural light floods through the arched windows throughout the morning. The marble bar anchors the room, backed by oak shelving that displays our bottles and products. The furniture mixes natural wood with neutral tones, creating an atmosphere that feels relaxed but considered.
Outside, a terrace with parasols lets you enjoy your brunch al fresco. With Gran Canaria's year-round sunshine, most mornings are perfect for eating outdoors while watching the world go by in this quiet corner of the coast.
Couples on holiday who want a morning that feels special, not routine. Share a glass of champagne and take your time over a proper brunch instead of rushing through a hotel buffet. Families will find that children love the pancakes and smoothies, while parents can finally enjoy a well-made coffee in a calm, welcoming space. Groups of friends celebrating a birthday, a hen party or simply a holiday together will appreciate the champagne options and the relaxed atmosphere that encourages long, leisurely meals.
